Dubai Maritime City Authority & Hamburg Chamber of Commerce Discuss Maritime Cooperation

The Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) hosted a high-level delegation from the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce to explore the prospects for participation in areas that support the usual ambitions of the global maritime sector. The meeting also highlighted the commitment of both events in enriching knowledge and exchange of the most effective experiences and best methods in the market, with maritime training and technological innovation as a key pillars for updating all elements of the maritime collection.

Amer Ali, Executive Director of DMCA, welcomed Prof. Hans-Joerg Schmidt-Trenz, Representative and Counselor, and Robert Lorenz-Meyer, Commissioner for International Matters at the Hamburg Chamber, verifying DMCA's dedication to strengthen teamwork structures with the world's leading maritime clusters, in accordance with its initiatives to position Dubai among the world's leading maritime capitals by 2020.

The meeting also included the follow-up of the MOU authorized by the DMCA's Dubai Maritime Collection office and the Germany's Maritime Cluster Norddeutschland throughout 'Dubai Maritime Agenda 2017' along with a discussion on its crucial function in encouraging maritime industry leaders to more contribute to check out the future of the global maritime market and to sustain innovation and technology as key pillars for the development of maritime collections, in line with the rapid changes of the 21st century. Both celebrations reviewed the influence of the tactical partnership on the advancement of an incorporated framework to boost the investment possibilities available in the maritime collections in Dubai and Hamburg.
