Dubai Culture and MBRSC Partner to Strengthen Educational and Cultural Initiatives in Creative and Scientific Fields

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) to enhance cooperation and knowledge exchange in creative, cultural, and scientific fields. The agreement, signed at the Etihad Museum by H.E. Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, and H.E. Salem Humaid AlMarri, Director General of MBRSC, aims to foster educational and cultural initiatives that align with Dubai’s long-term vision.

In attendance were prominent figures including Muna Faisal Al Gurg, CEO of the Culture & Heritage Sector at Dubai Culture, Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, CEO of the Arts & Literature Sector at Dubai Culture, and Hazzaa AlMansoori, the first Emirati astronaut.

The MoU will focus on:

  • Strengthening partnerships between local creatives, educational institutions, and scientific communities.
  • Organizing joint events, exhibitions, and talks, integrating space exploration into various art forms.
  • Promoting knowledge exchange to inspire innovation in the cultural and creative industries.
  • Supporting educational platforms that enhance scientific understanding and foster collaboration between the arts and science.

H.E. Hala Badri emphasized that this partnership reflects the UAE’s growing leadership in space exploration and its commitment to empowering national talent. H.E. Salem Humaid AlMarri added that this collaboration is a vital step toward blending art and science, inspiring future generations and nurturing creativity through interactive educational initiatives.
