Dubai Civil Aviation Authority participates in Airport Show’s 23rd edition

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) is all set to make its mark at the upcoming 23rd edition of the Airport Show, slated to be held from May 14 to 16 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the DCAA, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline, the event promises to be a significant platform for the aviation sector.

With a strategic vision to fortify Dubai's aviation industry, the DCAA's participation in the world's largest annual airport industry exhibition underscores its commitment to engaging with stakeholders, industry experts, and decision-makers. The authority aims to address queries pertinent to Dubai's aviation activities while also attracting global investments to fuel further growth in the region's aviation sector.

H.E Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, emphasized the unique importance of this year's Airport Exhibition, aligning with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's recent announcement regarding the new passenger terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport. This ambitious project, set to become the world's largest, with an estimated cost of AED 128 billion, will commence construction immediately, significantly increasing the airport's capacity to accommodate up to 260 million passengers. Such developments are expected to energize the exhibition, charting a global path for industry advancement and unlocking new opportunities for the future.
