Dubai Centre for Family Businesses Hosts Workshop on Enhancing Succession Planning
The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses, operating under Dubai Chambers, has concluded an interactive workshop within its 'Governance Series,' focusing on succession planning strategies for family businesses. The session attracted 40 participants and featured insights from industry leaders such as Vladislav Burda, President of RedHead Family Corporation, and Dr. Joseph Astrachan, Chairman of Generation6. Both experts shared key lessons and case studies aimed at improving business continuity and management transitions across generations.
The workshop is part of an ongoing effort to address the unique challenges faced by family-owned businesses, providing them with tools for long-term success and compliance with regulatory frameworks. This was the fourth session held in the series, which covers various topics, including corporate governance and the use of legal structures like Waqf, foundations, and trusts to enhance business sustainability.
