Dubai Exports, the export promotion firm of the Department of Economic Development - Government of Dubai has been announced as a strategic partner of Business France, the nationwide company supporting the international advancement of the French economy, after a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed to boost company and trade between the two countries.

The signing ceremony was attended by Engineer Saed Al Awadi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Exports and Henri Baissas, Deputy CEO of Business France; in existence of H.E Michel Miraillet, Ambassador of France to the UAE, Marc Cagnard, Business France Director in the Middle East, Sophia Salmi, Head of Agribusiness Department.

The MoU was signed on the French pavilion at Gulfood exhibition this Sunday, 21st of February to develop a structure of cooperation in order to develop and enhance links in the field of trade promotion in between Dubai & France.

Eng. Al Awadi stated:" We are delighted to work closely with a French government agency such as Business France to improve companies in the UAE. We invite this really worthwhile collaboration to begin a long term relationship and to extend French presence in Dubai and the UAE ".

Henri Baissas commented:" France UAE relations date back to the founding of the federation in 1971. The leadership of the UAE and France are dedicated to supporting and reinforcing bilateral relations for the benefit of both nations. We are honored to work closely with Dubai Exports to improve the exchange of experiences and knowledge and boost export growth from Dubai in addition to French exports ".

The signing of this MoU reflects both parties' commitment to reinforce ties in between France and UAE. Dubai Exports and Business France will form a team to manage their upcoming joint tasks, such as improve joint trade events and activities involvement.
