DataFlow Services FZ LLC, operator of the TrueProfile.io credential verification and professional development platform, has partnered with MediLearning International to expand access to accredited continuing professional development (CPD) and continuing medical education (CME) courses for healthcare professionals across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The two organisations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a CPD/CME course distribution partnership. Under the agreement, MediLearning will provide a minimum of 70 Dubai Health Authority (DHA)-accredited courses covering doctors, dentists, nurses and pharmacists.
The courses will be listed and promoted through the TrueProfile.io healthcare professional marketplace, giving verified healthcare professionals across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman access to accredited learning opportunities.
Partnership aims to simplify licensing compliance
The partnership addresses the continuing education requirements faced by healthcare professionals across the region. Healthcare professionals are required to complete CPD or CME credits to maintain their professional licences, while regulators generally place limits on the proportion of credits that can be completed online.
By integrating accredited CPD courses into the TrueProfile.io platform, the partnership aims to connect professional credential verification with continuing education and licensing compliance through a single digital ecosystem.
Amit Gupta, Chief Strategy Officer at DataFlow, said the partnership forms part of the company's strategy to expand TrueProfile.io beyond credential verification and support healthcare professionals throughout their compliance lifecycle.
According to Gupta, providing easier access to CPD opportunities addresses an important need for the region's healthcare workforce while also helping healthcare employers maintain a compliant and licensed workforce.
More than 170 courses planned
MediLearning Founder and CEO Graham Cooke described the agreement as an important development for CPD access in the region.
The partnership will allow healthcare professionals using TrueProfile.io to access DHA-accredited CPD courses through MediLearning as part of their ongoing licensing requirements. The companies also expect the integration to provide healthcare organisations with greater visibility into workforce compliance.
DataFlow and MediLearning plan to expand the marketplace to more than 170 accredited courses within the next six months. A formal services agreement is expected to follow the MOU.
The collaboration reflects a broader move towards integrating professional education, credential verification and regulatory compliance within digital platforms, potentially making it easier for healthcare professionals across the GCC to maintain both their licences and professional skills.
