CAP Brings Laboratory Expertise to Dubai Conference

The College of American Pathologists (CAP), the worlds leading provider of laboratory quality solutions, will be providing classes and hosting an exhibit at Medlab Middle East, the worlds biggest laboratory and in-vitro diagnostics exhibition and conference.
More than 19,000 laboratory experts and 600 exhibiting companies are anticipated at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, February 3-8, 2020.

Laboratories in more than 100 nations rely on the CAP for external quality assurance (EQA) programs or proficiency testing (PT) and laboratory accreditation. More than 22,000 laboratory sites use CAP PT and more than 8,000 are CAP inspected and accredited.

The CAPs complete vary of laboratory quality solutions is continuously evolving to hold in step with modifications in laboratory medicine, enabling more time for what matters mostaccuracy in the laboratory, resulting in better patient outcomes, stated CAP President Patrick Godbey, MD, FCAP. The CAP will recognize Dr. Nabulsi and Aaron Han, MD, FCAP, consultant pathologist at American Hospital Dubai and the CAPs newly appointed Deputy Commissioner for United Arab Emirates (UAE), for their excellent service and ongoing commitment to the CAP and laboratory accreditation.
