Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel Implements Innovative Water Generation System to Support UAE’s Net Zero Goals

Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, operated by Hospitality Management Holding (HMH), has taken a significant step toward sustainability by integrating Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs) from AirOWater. This initiative enables the hotel to produce 365,000 liters of water annually from the air, reducing reliance on plastic bottled water and supporting the UAE’s environmental goals.

As part of the program, the hotel now provides guests with purified water in reusable glass bottles across its rooms, restaurants, and leisure areas. By eliminating single-use plastics, the initiative contributes to a reduction of 33.58 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year, further decreasing landfill waste and transportation emissions while promoting a circular economy.

The project was inaugurated by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, alongside His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Ahmed Alsayed Alhashmi, Director General of Ajman Department of Tourism Development. Also present were His Excellency Sheikh Salem Bin Faisal Al Qassimi and His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Faisal Al Qasimi, Vice Chairmen of Faisal Holding, underscoring the project’s significance for regional sustainability efforts.
