Azizi Developments Partners with RMJM for Landmark Azizi Venice Project in Dubai South
Azizi Developments, a prominent UAE-based private developer, has announced a strategic partnership with renowned global architectural and design firm RMJM to serve as the design consultancy for Azizi Venice, an expansive mixed-use community in Dubai South. Azizi Venice, set to become a significant landmark in the region, will be entirely surrounded by one of the world's largest swimmable crystal-blue lagoons.
RMJM, established in 1956 in the UK, is globally recognized for its innovative and sustainable architectural designs. The firm's extensive portfolio includes notable projects like the Scottish Parliament Building, Abu Dhabi's Capital Gate, and the Dubai International Financial Centre. RMJM’s blend of modernist principles with local cultural contexts and its commitment to sustainability have made it a leader in creating functional and aesthetically compelling spaces worldwide.

Azizi Venice will feature over 36,000 residential units across more than 100 apartment complexes and 109 ultra-luxury mansions. The development will be highlighted by its massive crystal-blue water lagoon, surrounded by multiple beaches, and will include extensive leisure, retail, and commercial spaces. The lagoon will feature beach-like shores, an 8 km-long cycling and jogging track, yoga and sports facilities, and a promenade with a variety of artisan eateries and boutiques.
A key attraction within Azizi Venice will be Azizi Opera, a state-of-the-art venue for cultural and community events, located at the heart of the community’s boulevard. This pedestrian-friendly boulevard will be open-air during the winter and glass-covered in the summer, ensuring a temperature-controlled environment for year-round activities.
Azizi Venice is designed to be a prime tourist destination and a high-end local hotspot, expecting to welcome over 30,000 visitors daily. The community will feature two five-star hotels and a boutique hotel located on an island in the lagoon. Additionally, the development will include a full-service hospital, schools, and numerous child-friendly amenities. The boulevard and other areas will be adorned with seasonal decorations, musical and dancing fountains, and stunning lighting features, enhancing its appeal as one of the UAE's top attractions.
Strategically located in Dubai South's prestigious Golf District and positioned along Emirates Road (E611), Azizi Venice offers easy access to Dubai's major highways and the Al Maktoum International Airport. The development is part of Dubai's growth corridor, with the city rapidly expanding towards the south.
