UAE-based master developer Arada Group has announced plans for a AED5 billion twin-tower residential development in Broadbeach on Australia's Gold Coast, marking its first project in Queensland and its expansion beyond New South Wales.
The development, which will comprise 952 residences, is scheduled for completion ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brisbane and is expected to become one of Arada's largest commitments in the Australian property market to date.
Nearly 1,000 Homes Planned on the Gold Coast
Designed by Plus Studio, the project will feature two residential towers connected by a landscaped podium. The development will include one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments aimed at the growing residential market in South East Queensland.
Residents will have access to a wide range of lifestyle and wellness facilities, including a lagoon pool, lap pool, gym, sauna, steam room, mist room, infrared room and salt scrub facilities.
Additional amenities will include communal terraces, private dining areas, a library, residents' lounge, work-from-home spaces and approximately 1,200 square metres of ground-floor retail and hospitality outlets.
Prime Broadbeach Location
The site is located directly opposite the Gold Coast Convention Centre and is within walking distance of several major attractions and transport links.
The development will benefit from access to the Gold Coast light rail network and proximity to The Star Gold Coast and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, while also offering convenient access to the beachfront and the area's established dining and entertainment precinct.
Roberts Co to Deliver Construction
Construction of the project will be undertaken by Roberts Co, Arada's tier-one construction subsidiary.
The arrangement reflects Arada's vertically integrated development model, which combines land acquisition, development and construction under the group's operations.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, said the Broadbeach project represents the company's first development outside New South Wales and reflects its strategy of expanding into key urban markets across Australia.
He added that delivering the project through Roberts Co would enable the company to maintain quality and accountability throughout the development process.
Confidence in South East Queensland Market
Arada said the project reflects its confidence in the Gold Coast and the broader South East Queensland property market.
The region has experienced continued population growth, supported by interstate migration, infrastructure investment and its appeal as a lifestyle destination. Preparations for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games are also expected to drive further investment and demand for residential properties across the region.
The developer believes the timing presents an opportunity to deliver a major residential community as the Gold Coast continues to evolve into a more globally recognised urban destination.
Arada's Growing Australian Portfolio
Since entering Australia in 2024, Arada has assembled a development pipeline comprising eight projects and more than 5,000 homes across the country.
In 2025, the group acquired Roberts Co, strengthening its construction capabilities in the Australian market.
Arada's Australian interests also extend beyond property development. The group has invested in Brooki Bakehouse and holds the master franchise agreement for Boost Juice across the UAE. It also operates hospitality, wellness and healthcare businesses, including Formative, a fitness operator that the company plans to expand internationally.
Globally, Arada has projects valued at approximately AED130 billion and a portfolio exceeding 55,000 homes across the UAE, the United Kingdom and Australia.
