Alef Education, a UAE-based global leader in education technology, showcased the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of learning at UNESCO Digital Learning Week 2025, held recently at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

The four-day event, dedicated to digital learning and education transformation, gathered global leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators to explore how technology can redefine learning ecosystems. Alef Education used the platform to demonstrate its AI-driven solutions that enhance teaching outcomes, foster inclusivity, and equip students with future-ready skills.

Geoffrey Alphonso, CEO of Alef Education, participated in a high-level panel titled “New worlds of learning: How is AI reshaping the learning futures of students?” He emphasized the importance of integrating AI into classrooms to prepare students for an increasingly interconnected global workforce.

“By showcasing innovative solutions and engaging in meaningful discussions, we aim to inspire stakeholders to embrace digital tools that not only enhance classroom experiences but also prepare learners for tomorrow’s workforce,” Alphonso said. “At Alef Education, we remain committed to ensuring that technology-driven education reaches every student, regardless of their background or location.”

In another session, “Personalised Learning with AI: Insights from Research and Practice”, Dr. Ali Nadaf, Director of Data & Research at Alef Education, highlighted how AI-powered personalization is improving student outcomes, underscoring the growing role of data-driven education.

Global collaboration and engagement

Beyond panel discussions, Alef Education held meetings with international education leaders, including ministers and senior officials from Albania, Malaysia, Namibia, Morocco, Uganda, Libya, Ghana, and UNICEF. These discussions focused on collaboration opportunities and knowledge exchange to advance technology-enabled education in their respective countries.

Alef Education’s active participation reinforced its standing as a global leader in AI-powered learning solutions, committed to building inclusive and future-ready education systems.
