Ajman Tourism Development Department Signs MoU with Citizens Affairs Office to Boost Tourism Initiatives

The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Citizens Affairs Office in Ajman to support tourism and community-driven initiatives. The agreement was signed in the presence of Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of ATDD; His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Citizens Affairs Office; and His Excellency Mahmood Khaleed Al Hashmi, Director General of ATDD. The signing took place during the GITEX Global 2024 exhibition held in Dubai from October 14 to 18.

This partnership aims to enhance the quality of life and well-being of Ajman residents while advancing sustainable development goals. Under the MoU, both organizations will collaborate on initiatives such as expanding the Testahel Card network, benefiting cardholders and providing greater value in the tourism sector. In addition, the MoU outlines joint participation in events, training programs, and promotional efforts to position Ajman as a top travel destination.

His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi emphasized the value of strategic alliances: "This collaboration aligns with our commitment to enhance the quality of services for our community and promote well-being."

His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi added, "This MoU reflects our dedication to creating distinctive experiences for residents and tourists and to supporting Ajman’s position as a unique tourist destination."

The ATDD also used its platform at GITEX Global 2024 to showcase its latest digital services for the tourism industry, highlighting Ajman's growing reputation as an attractive travel hub.
