ADSB Launches First Vessel in Prestigious FALAJ 3 Programme
Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB), a subsidiary of EDGE Group and a leading regional entity specializing in naval and commercial shipbuilding, celebrated a major achievement with the launch of the first FALAJ 3 class vessel. The launch, held at the ADSB shipyard, signifies a significant step in fulfilling the AED 3.5 billion contract with the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
Designed to bolster the UAE's national defence capabilities, the FALAJ 3 programme represents the pinnacle of naval innovation. The vessel is equipped with state-of-the-art mission systems and advanced armament, tailored to address the evolving demands of modern defence operations.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of Rear Admiral Pilot Staff Major General Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Commander of the UAE Naval Forces.
