The Act of Gordafarid - The Female Warrior, is a set of paper and cardboard sculptures by creator Yasmin Sinai who mixes her dramatic flair for sculpting with art to create a series of unique and beautiful installations. Following the mythical story of Gordafarid, the only female warrior in The Book of Kings written by the popular Persian poet Ferdowsi, Yasmin attempts to modernize Gordafarid by making her not only a warriors but a mother and partner fighting for her rights while defending her fathers castle.
