Against the tides 2017 to open with the voice of Ridha Abdul Rahim
Woman2Woman will be organizing its 7th edition of Against the tides, an Art Exhibition which every year has a new theme that takes focus of the Art show, this year Artists from the Emirates will be coming together to display Self Love through their Art and to open the show we have a very special singer, 14yr old Ridha Abdul Rahim (who is visually impaired) will be singing soulful Bollywood and Malyalam songs alcapella; joining her will be local singing sensation Yasmina Alidodova belting out popular English and Arabic songs. The Guest of Honor for Against the tides 2017; is the young and enterprising Art Lover Ebraheem Al Samadi - CEO of Al Samadi Retail General Trading. This Art Show is open to the public, starting on 15th till 21st of February at the Cartoon Art Gallery, Dubai. The Artists include; Aisha Yosuf Al Shemili, Afshan Quraishi, Anya Akhtar, Dr. Nafisa Sayed Motiwala, Dr. Yaser Habrawi, Haafiza Syed, Erum Abdullah, Hinal Kale, Kavita Sriram, Jyoti Sethi, Linda Mohamed, Maheshie Perera, Munira Malubhai, Nissa Riyas, Parul Parasramka, Romy Ravindran, Rukseena Musthafa, Sumeet K. Gusani, Supriya Singh Baghel, Shiba Khan, Tripti Purewal, Yuvika Garg; Baker - Ayesha Siddeeka and Chocolatier - Hemmali Narsiaan. There will be 60 Art works depicting Self love on display and sale; visitors can also enjoy a live entertainment by performing artists.
