Dubai’s The View at Palm Jumeirah introduces new glass ledges.
Visitors to Dubai’s The View at Palm Jumeirah can now step onto glass ledges extending over the island, as the observation attraction introduces a new experience offering elevated views of the Arabian Gulf and the city skyline.
Called The Ledge at The View, the new attraction features eight glass platforms, each extending 1.5 metres beyond the observation deck. Four ledges face Palm Jumeirah’s fronds and crescent against the Arabian Gulf, while the remaining four offer views of Dubai’s skyline.
Visitors can look out towards the horizon or down through the transparent glass beneath their feet. The experience also offers photo opportunities, with views changing throughout the day from bright daytime skies to sunset colours and the illuminated city after dark.
The View marks five years in Dubai
The launch coincides with the fifth anniversary of The View at Palm Jumeirah, which opened in 2021. The attraction has welcomed millions of visitors from 130 countries since its opening.
Located 240 metres above ground at the top of the Palm Tower, The View was introduced as the highest point on Palm Jumeirah. The tower was developed by Nakheel and is connected to Nakheel Mall.
The new experience adds another way for visitors to take in Palm Jumeirah and Dubai’s skyline from the observation deck.
