Dubai introduces “Dock & Dine”: yachts now welcome at 20 waterfront dining hotspots

Dubai has officially launched its much anticipated Dock & Dine programme, a seamless, yacht-to-table experience enabling boaters to dock and dine at up to 20 premier marinas and marine stations across the city. The initiative, unveiled by the Dubai Maritime Authority (DMA) and Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), aims to elevate short stay yachting and enrich Dubai’s waterfront dining scene.

These venues include renowned marinas such as Dubai Harbour Marinas, Mina Rashid Marina, Palm Jumeirah Marina, and others like Al Seef Marina, Bulgari Marina, Creek Marina Yacht Club, and Jebel Ali Marina. In total, 20 locations (from Dubai Islands Marina to Port De La Mer Marina) now participate in the programme, offering direct access to an array of upscale restaurants, hotels, and cultural attractions.

Key benefits for yacht owners and guests include:

  • Free moorage at participating marinas
  • Fast reservations, with confirmation in just 5 minutes to an hour
  • Dedicated dock tenders to streamline drop-offs and pick-ups
  • A standardised process across all venues, ensuring uniform service quality

The programme is especially well timed for the winter season (October to April), when Dubai’s inviting climate, calm waters, and lively events calendar attract yachting enthusiasts and international visitors alike. It plays a central role in advancing the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) by reinforcing the city’s position as a top tier global yachting and tourism destination.

DMA CEO Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum emphasized that Dock & Dine “galvanises the yachting sector” and reflects Dubai’s commitment to innovation, safety, and exceptional service, a sentiment echoed by DET’s Issam Kazim, who hailed the initiative as a landmark in creating effortless waterfront connections.

With over 4,000 berths available city-wide, Dubai is uniquely equipped to support vessels of all sizes and with Dock & Dine now live, cruising aficionados can indulge in an elevated culinary journey straight from their yacht to world class dining experiences.
