Strategic Partnership Between HRE Development and Dubai Land Department to Empower Women in Real Estate Leadership
HRE Development, a prominent UAE-based property developer, has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) to strengthen the role of women in the UAE’s real estate industry. The partnership was formalized at the International Property Show in Dubai, the region’s premier real estate exhibition.
The agreement supports DLD’s “She Pioneers” initiative, which was introduced earlier this year to increase female representation in leadership roles within real estate firms and brokerage houses. The initiative also promotes tailored investment opportunities for women and aims to cultivate flexible, empowering work environments that support work-life balance for female brokers.
This alliance underlines a mutual vision to foster the participation of Emirati and resident women as investors, leaders, and professionals across the real estate value chain. It reflects the UAE’s broader commitment to gender equality and the economic inclusion of women across key development sectors.
Under the agreement, HRE will launch a series of community engagement and media campaigns spotlighting successful female figures in the UAE real estate landscape. These campaigns are designed to inspire future generations of women to pursue real estate careers and investment ventures with confidence.
In addition, HRE plans to offer complimentary advisory sessions on real estate investment and personal finance, tailored specifically for aspiring female investors. These sessions aim to provide women with essential market insights, financial literacy, and the tools needed for long-term economic empowerment.
Magda Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector at DLD, praised the initiative, saying:
“We value our strategic collaboration with HRE Development, which places women's empowerment at the heart of its objectives. This initiative aligns with our vision to create a supportive ecosystem for women and to encourage their active contribution to the real estate sector — a key pillar of the UAE economy.”
Wissam Breidy, CEO of HRE Development, echoed this sentiment:
“At HRE, we believe that empowering women is fundamental to the progress of any modern society. This partnership with the Dubai Land Department is a meaningful step toward translating that belief into impactful action. We firmly believe in the power of women to lead transformative change and shape the future of real estate in the UAE.”
Since its founding in 2021, HRE has completed over 200 development projects, enhancing the lives of more than 12,000 families. This latest initiative builds on the developer’s ongoing mission, encapsulated in its slogan “Building with Purpose,” which emphasizes social impact and human-centric values.
HRE’s dedication to purpose-driven development is also exemplified by its strategic alliance with Dubai Cares, through which the company pledged AED 30 million to support education initiatives in developing countries. Additionally, HRE champions sustainable innovation by incorporating eco-friendly materials and smart technologies into its developments, supporting Dubai’s ambition to lead the world in smart, sustainable urban living.
