Sony Music and Beecell Announce New iTunes Strategic Alliance

Sony Music Entertainment Middle East and Beecell, the leading regional mobile value-added services provider, announced a strategic partnership to populate iTunes MENA and International stores with Arabic and regional music content aggregated by Beecell.

Middle East has 39% smartphone penetration which is among the highest in the world and Apple represents 35% of the smartphones in the market which means a huge number of iTunes users are targeted.
