Sobha Realty Announces Leadership Transition: Ravi Menon Elevated to Chairman, PNC Menon to Continue as Founder

PNC Menon, the visionary Founder and Chairman of Sobha Group, will step down from his active role as Chairman, effective November 18, 2024. Ravi Menon, currently the Co-Chairman of Sobha Group, will assume the position of Chairman.
PNC Menon, a Forbes-listed billionaire who started his journey from humble beginnings in India, earned a distinguished reputation in Oman as 'The Palace Maker,' a title that led to him and his family receiving Omani citizenship from the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. His leadership has transformed Sobha Realty into a revered name in the real estate industry. While retiring from the Chairmanship, PNC Menon will continue as the Founder of Sobha Group, offering his expertise to guide the company’s subsidiaries and ensure ongoing growth.

Ravi Menon, a Civil Engineering graduate with Honors from Purdue University, USA, has played a pivotal role in Sobha Group’s success over the past two decades. Since joining Sobha Limited in India as a Director in 2004, he has advanced the company’s strategic vision and fostered a culture of innovation. His elevation to Vice Chairman in 2006, and later as Co-Chairman of Sobha Group in Dubai, highlights his visionary leadership and operational excellence.
