A Series of ENT Courses and Workshops Conducted By Saudi German Hospital Academy
Currently Saudi German Hospital Academy in cooperation with Batterjee Medical College (BMC), carried out a series of ENT courses took place in the BMC Anatomy Laboratory in Jeddah as a part of its contributions to the growth of Saudi Arabias healthcare industry, with the major aim of training and developing skills for ENT surgeons in performing procedures in the treatment of various ENT anomalies and pathologies.
Courses conducted such as sleep and snoring surgery, sialoendoscopy hands-on workshop, temporal bone dissection course and workshop for cochlear implant and implantable hearing devices, and basic and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery course. The courses were carried out completely via didactic and practical sessions. Surgical skills have been taught during the workshop sessions working on fresh frozen human specimens.
Eminent professionals in the area of ENT medicine from different ENT societies in the Kingdom and overseas were the speakers, instructors, and facilitators in the course of these workshops, together with Dr. Abdelmonem AlShaikh, Prof. Reda Kamel, Dr. Tarek AlShaikh, Dr. Rajab AlZahrani and other highly esteemed professors in ENT.
ENT residents, experts and consultants from different hospitals and institutions in the Kingdom and GCC countries have took part and learned skills by extensive one-on-one sessions and hands-on Training with the professionals.
