The reports, developed by its Energy Management Research Center and Sustainability Research Institute, respectively, address strategies for sustainable growth and AI-driven decarbonization in the energy sector. During the IEA global conference in December 2024, Schneider Electric CEO Olivier Blum emphasized leveraging AI innovations to enhance efficiency, resilience, and security while enabling smart and sustainable energy management.

Accelerating Technology Adoption

Schneider Electric advocates for integrating AI-powered solutions, such as end-to-end AI data center systems and AI-driven HVAC systems, to facilitate a smooth energy transition and promote smart industry development. According to a WEF report, existing technologies could reduce energy intensity by 31% and generate annual savings exceeding $2 trillion USD by 2030.
