Rotary Club of Jumeirah and Airbnb Celebrate Senses Center’s 20th Anniversary with School Bus Donation
Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs marked its 20th anniversary with a heartwarming contribution—a new school bus donated jointly by the Rotary Club of Jumeirah, under the Association of Rotary Clubs UAE, and Airbnb. This collaboration underscores the commitment of both organizations to supporting the special needs community in the UAE.
The school bus donation aims to enhance the transportation capabilities of Senses Center, ensuring safe and reliable mobility for its residents and day care attendees. This initiative reflects the shared dedication of Rotary Club of Jumeirah and Airbnb to empowering individuals of determination.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the Rotary Club of Jumeirah and Airbnb,” said Dr. Nadia Khalil Al Sayegh, Founder and Director General of Senses Center. “This donation will greatly improve the lives of our residents by giving them better access to educational and recreational programs. As we celebrate 20 years of service, this act of generosity showcases the power of community collaboration.”
The Rotary Club of Jumeirah has been a steadfast supporter of Senses Center since 2010, contributing to various initiatives that uplift individuals with special needs. Ahmad Belselah, Founder and Chairman of the Association of Rotary Clubs UAE, highlighted the significance of this partnership: “This donation reflects our commitment to addressing the needs of vulnerable populations and improving lives globally. By collaborating with Airbnb through the Global Giving platform, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the special needs community.”
Farhan Shahid, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Senses Center, added: “This partnership demonstrates the transformative potential of corporate social responsibility. The donation of the school bus is more than just a vehicle; it is a symbol of hope, inclusion, and progress. Together, we are building a society where every individual of determination can thrive and achieve their full potential.”
