RMAL Hospitality PJSC has launched Ruwad Addiyafah, a fully sponsored, 12-month, full-time employment programme designed for UAE nationals seeking careers in the food and beverage and hospitality sectors.
The initiative is the first programme introduced under RMAL Hospitality's new Board of Directors. It aims to provide participants with practical industry experience, commercial knowledge and professional mentorship, with potential career pathways in hospitality operations, F&B entrepreneurship and business management.
Programme offers exposure across hospitality operations
Ruwad Addiyafah is structured to give participants an understanding of how an F&B business is established, operated and developed rather than focusing on a single job function.
Participants will gain practical experience across RMAL Hospitality's portfolio of international and homegrown restaurant brands, allowing them to observe different operating models, customer propositions and approaches to business growth.
The programme begins with a Foundation Stage, during which participants rotate through several areas of the business. These include F&B service, culinary operations, food health and safety, procurement, finance, human resources, government relations and marketing.
The rotations are designed to help participants understand how different departments work together and how business decisions can affect employees, operations, customer experience and financial performance.
Participants can specialise in leadership or business management
Following the Foundation Stage, participants will enter a Specialisation Stage and choose between Operational Leadership and Business Management.
The specialisation phase will include professional mentorship and is intended to help participants develop the skills required to take responsibility for broader business operations.
After successfully completing the programme, participants will have three potential pathways. They may develop an F&B concept that could be considered for support and investment by RMAL Hospitality, establish an independent business using the knowledge gained during the programme, or continue their careers within RMAL Hospitality.
“The future of our industry will be shaped by the people we invest in today,” said Khaled Al Fahim, Chairman of RMAL Hospitality.
“Through Ruwad Addiyafah, we are bringing RMAL Hospitality’s operational and commercial expertise directly into the development of the next generation of Emirati F&B entrepreneurs and hospitality leaders. Participants will learn by doing, working across the business, understanding how successful concepts are built and grown, and developing the skills and confidence to ultimately lead businesses or create their own,” he added.
Applications open through NAFIS
Applications for Ruwad Addiyafah are being accepted exclusively through the NAFIS platform.
The programme is open to UAE nationals aged 18 and above who hold at least a high-school certificate. Previous experience in hospitality or F&B is not required.
Successful applicants will be employed full-time in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi and will receive practical training and professional development within RMAL Hospitality.
The company has operated in the UAE hospitality sector since 2007. The programme is aimed at young Emiratis prepared to commit to full-time employment and develop the skills required for future roles in hospitality leadership and entrepreneurship.
RMAL Hospitality said Ruwad Addiyafah is intended to provide participants with practical exposure to the different aspects of running a hospitality business while creating potential longer-term career and entrepreneurship opportunities within the sector.
