Presidio Investors Appoints Christian Schütte as Operating Partner to Drive Strategic Growth
Presidio Investors is proud to announce the appointment of Christian Schütte as its newest Operating Partner, further enhancing the firm’s commitment to value creation through strategic and operational excellence.
Christian brings over two decades of international expertise in investment banking, private equity, and executive leadership, with a proven track record of spearheading transformational initiatives across diverse sectors.
He began his career at J.P. Morgan in New York and London, where he worked in both the M&A and Corporate Finance divisions. He later joined Fortress Investment Group, playing a key role in launching the firm's German operations. During his tenure at Fortress, he helped raise more than €1.5 billion in equity and oversaw a wide range of investments, including non-performing and performing loans, as well as private and publicly listed companies.
Christian then moved to EQT Group, where he focused on mid-market growth and succession investments. Among his standout achievements was leading the consolidation of nine digital marketing agencies into a €100 million market leader, establishing one of Germany’s most comprehensive digital marketing platforms.
Transitioning into operational leadership, Christian took on the role of CEO and majority owner of a premium motorcycle accessories company, successfully expanding its footprint to ten international markets. He also co-founded a tech startup dedicated to IoT-based emergency response and asset recovery solutions.
Currently, he serves as the majority owner and Chairman of two industrial companies in Germany, continuing to steer strategic development and drive operational improvements.
Christian holds law degrees from the Universities of Passau, Lausanne, and Berlin. His appointment as Operating Partner at Presidio Investors is expected to significantly enhance the firm’s ability to collaborate closely with portfolio company leadership teams and execute ambitious growth strategies.
