A Pavilion Always on the Go, Unveiled by the Republic of Korea
Dubai, 10 March 2019: With more innovative and thought-provoking pavilions coming up every day, the Republic of Korea has more to its pavilion than just static design. The pavilion stands out from the crowd with the unique design that keeps it continuously changing in form and shape.
Visitors at the Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will be welcomed with a vibrant canvas of colour, culture and futurism. The clever architecture has imbibed in it the very essence of Korean art, style and pop culture, while the rotating cubes create continuously changing images on the exterior of the pavilion, located in the Mobility District.
On the whole, the five-storey design portrays the concept of a group dancing with excitement embodying in it the Korean dynamism. Coming into the interiors, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Expo 2020 site with a spiral-shaped exhibition space.
Under the theme Smart Korea, Moving the World to You, the Asian nation renowned for its tech prowess intends to host events to capitalize on the ever-increasing global popularity of its cinema, television and music. Meanwhile, the pavilion will also highlight the nations status as a world leader in the Fourth Industrial Revolution with cutting-edge technologies including AI, virtual reality and the Internet of Things.
