Palo Alto Networks Advocates Platformization and AI-Powered Cybersecurity at Ignite on Tour Abu Dhabi

Palo Alto Networks is set to emphasize the critical role of Platformization, AI-driven security, and vendor consolidation in addressing the evolving cybersecurity landscape at Ignite on Tour Abu Dhabi on February 18 at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental. The event will bring together 250 cybersecurity professionals, decision-makers, and executives to discuss emerging threats and strategies for secure digital transformation.

The event will be inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity, UAE Government, who will outline national initiatives to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity infrastructure. He will also highlight the recently approved National Cybersecurity Strategy, which aims to mitigate risks associated with AI and cloud computing.

As AI and digital transformation accelerate, organizations face growing cybersecurity challenges. Dr. Al Kuwaiti emphasized that while AI and cloud technologies offer significant opportunities, they also introduce new threats that require proactive security measures. The UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC) remains committed to implementing state-of-the-art protective technologies to safeguard digital infrastructure.

At the event, Palo Alto Networks will showcase its Platformization approach, which integrates multiple cybersecurity solutions into a single AI-powered framework. This strategy aims to reduce operational complexity and costs while enhancing security capabilities. The company anticipates achieving 2,500 to 3,500 Platformization deals by 2030 as enterprises shift toward streamlined cybersecurity models.

Jordi Botifoll, Vice President, EMEA South & Emerging at Palo Alto Networks, noted that AI-powered cyberattacks and expanding attack surfaces pose significant risks, particularly in the Middle East, where digital transformation is advancing rapidly. He stressed that Platformization can help organizations strengthen security and facilitate growth while aligning with government-led digital initiatives like ‘We the UAE 2031’.
