NMDC Energy Launches Advanced Fabrication Yard in Saudi Arabia to Boost Regional Growth

NMDC Energy PJSC (ADX: NMDCENR), a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction services for offshore and onshore energy clients, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art fabrication yard in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s strategic regional and global expansion. Spanning 400,000 square meters, the yard incorporates advanced automation and digitalization features, with a production capacity of 40,000 tonnes annually.

The inauguration ceremony, held during the iktva Forum & Exhibition 2025 at Dhahran Expo from 13 to 16 January, was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province.

The new facility, located within the Ras Al Khair Special Economic Zone, will focus on offshore facilities fabrication and onshore modularization. As part of a broader maritime and offshore cluster, the yard is designed to support industry growth with productive, safe, and environmentally conscious operations. NMDC Energy has invested AED 200 million in the yard to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact using cutting-edge technologies.

Over the past five years, NMDC Energy has reinvested SAR 5 billion into Saudi Arabia’s economy and industry, aligning with the Kingdom’s economic priorities. This project represents a cornerstone of NMDC Energy’s commitment to fostering sustainable growth and innovation in the region.

H.E.
