New Wireless Pressure Gauge App Increases Convenience and Safety

Emerson announces a new Plantweb Insight application for wireless pressure gauges that screens data in an easy-to-understand dashboard for maintenance leads and instrumentation and electrical (I&E) personnel. An entire suite of Plantweb Insight applications collectively assists users quickly make sense of plant data and drive overall enterprise earnings.

This Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT application provides field data from a fleet of wireless pressure assesses as often as once per minute. By maintaining operators updated on changing conditions from another location, the app enables employees to earn less hand-operated rounds and decrease their direct exposure to unsafe areas.

The gauge itself, the industry's first WirelessHART stress gauge, utilizes industry-proven Rosemount pressure sensor innovation to provide reputable pressure readings. It supplies as much as 150x overpressure protection compared with typical assesses utilizing bourdon tube technology, and two layers of process seclusion for a safer area environment. The scale, which has a 10-year life, likewise reduces upkeep prices by getting rid of common weak points discovered in mechanical evaluates.

The new application is the most up to date enhancement to Emerson's Plantweb digital ecosystem, a scalable portfolio of technologies, software application, and solutions that make the most of IIoT advancements to prolong the benefits of automation beyond process control to the whole business, improving operations, enhancing decision-making, and institutionalising best-practices.

Easily integrated with a range of WirelessHART assesses and remote area sensors, Plantweb Insight applications incorporate constant, real-time information provided by Emerson's Pervasive Sensing methods with predictive analytics to provide upkeep and operations personnel workable, updated procedure information in any kind of location, enhancing dependability, security, production, and energy administration.
