Ministry of Health and Prevention participated, as part of the UAE delegation led by TRA, in the World Summit on the Details Society Forum (WSIS) 2017, which is the world's largest yearly gathering of the 'ICT for development' community. The Forum is co-organized by ITU, UNESCO, UNDP and UNCTAD. As part of the program, the UAE delegation saw Mr. Houlin Zhao, ITU Secretary-General to inform him concerning the UAE ICT advancement and vision.

MOHAP represented by Mr. Ali Alajmi, Director, Information Technology Division, and Ms. Mubaraka Mubarak Ali Ibrahim, Director for Health Information Systems.
