MD & CEO of DEWA receives Siemens Energy delegation
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received a delegation from Siemens Energy. The delegation was headed by Dr Roland Fischer, Chief Executive Officer, Fossil Power Generation Division, at Siemens AG, Dietmar Siersdorfer, CEO of Siemens Middle East, and Karim Amin, Global CEO of Oil & Gas at Siemens.
Al Tayer welcomed the delegation and emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation with Siemens, highlighting that the meeting strengthens existing cooperation between both organisations.
The delegation provided an overview of Siemens services in Dubai and the UAE, and underlined the importance of Dubai for Siemens Energy. The delegation presented the companys profile of reliable, efficient and advanced technologies for generating power from fossil fuels, especially gas using gas turbines and renewable-energy resources.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation thanked Al Tayer for the warm welcome and for the opportunity to learn about DEWAs initiatives and existing joint projects with Siemens.
