Listing: Get your geek on at The Dubai Mall with an exclusive sneak preview of the Middle East Film & Comic Con from April 1 to 11

Fans can have an exclusive sneak peek into the largest counter-culture expo in the region, the Middle East Film and & Comic Con (MEFCC) at The Dubai Mall from April 1 to 11, 2015.

A Game of Arts collection, customised by 20 regional artists, inspired by the fantasy worlds of Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings will be showcased and officially unveiled at The Souk Atrium until April 8. After its display at The Dubai Mall, the collection will be at the MEFCC from April 9 to 11, where they will be sold for charity via a silent auction with a percentage of the proceedings going to the Super Hope UAE Charity.

At the Bloomingdales Atrium, fans can view the biggest Star Wars collection outside the US and Europe Collectors Dream. The collection is provided by Omar Al-Bahiti, a member and local representative (Commanding Officer) of the 501st Legion, an all-volunteer organisation formed for the express purpose of bringing together costume enthusiasts under a collective identity within the Star Wars universe. Omar began collecting unique sets of Star Wars items from the 1980s. MEFCC, in collaboration with Omar, is offering a once in a lifetime chance to get close and personal with these exquisite and unique collectibles.

In addition, comic books lovers can get a glimpse of an array of valuable collection of rare and vintage comic books from High-grade Comics that will be on display at The Waterfall Atrium until April 8, to be known as Vintage Comics Wall. The collection has also been provided by Omar Al-Bahiti.

On April 3, comic enthusiasts and mall visitors will watch their favourite superhero characters come to life at a special Cosplay Parade throughout the mall, starting from The Souk Atrium at 5pm. All fans and visitors can dress up in their favourite costume and join the parade.

Throughout the Comic Con celebration at The Dubai Mall visitors will have a chance to win exciting instant prizes when spotted wearing their best superhero costume.
