In a strategic move to strengthen collaboration and foster a supportive environment for entrepreneurs, the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre. The agreement was formalized during the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit, held recently at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Mouza Al Nasri, CEO of Khalifa Fund, and H.E. Engineer Maisarah Mahmoud Eid, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre, in the presence of key industry leaders, investors, and experts.

Aimed at empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the agreement supports their inclusion in procurement opportunities through the Abu Dhabi SME Champions Program. It also seeks to strengthen connections between SMEs and both public and private sector entities across the emirate. Additionally, the two parties will collaborate on initiatives and activities that contribute to the sustainable development of SMEs within Abu Dhabi.

Commenting on the agreement, Mouza Al Nasri stated:

“We are pleased to further develop our collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre through this strategic agreement. It reflects our joint commitment to supporting and empowering entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi and enhancing their participation in the vital infrastructure sector. This partnership reinforces our shared goal of creating a dynamic, innovation-driven business environment that contributes to the sustainable economic development of the emirate, in alignment with the UAE’s visionary leadership and Abu Dhabi’s ambitious future outlook.”

H.E. Engineer Maisarah Mahmoud Eid added:

“This strategic partnership with Khalifa Fund marks a pivotal step in strengthening Abu Dhabi’s economic framework. By integrating SMEs into major infrastructure projects, we not only support innovation and local content but also diversify our supply chains, drive sustainable growth, and build a more resilient and inclusive economy for the future of the emirate.”
