Khaled AlShehhi honoured with Digital Leadership Award at MENA Digital Awards
Khaled AlShehhi, Executive Director of Marketing and Communication at the UAE Government Media Office, has been awarded the Digital Leadership Award at the MENA Digital Awards, held alongside the Digital Media Forum in Dubai.
The award recognises AlShehhi’s distinguished career and his pivotal role in advancing government communication and the digital media ecosystem through innovative, impact-driven communication models. His work has contributed to presenting a progressive image of the United Arab Emirates that reflects its development vision, humanitarian values, and global leadership in modern government communication.
The ceremony featured a special video presentation highlighting key milestones in AlShehhi’s professional journey, showcasing his leadership influence, contributions to strengthening the digital media landscape, and efforts to establish new creative benchmarks within the government communication sector.
The award was presented by Najla Semaan Mazboudi, Founder and Managing Director of SpotOn Media Services, the MENA Digital Awards, and the Digital Media Forum, alongside Ahmad Itani, Founder and CEO of Cicero & Bernay Communication Consultancy. The presentation reflected recognition of AlShehhi’s leadership journey and his lasting impact on shaping the region’s digital communications landscape.
AlShehhi, a recipient of several local and international accolades, is widely regarded as one of the region’s most influential leaders in media and communications. In a landmark achievement, he was selected by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity as the first-ever representative from the global government sector to join its jury, highlighting the UAE’s elevated international standing in media innovation and government communication.
