Imdaad selects Brocade Ethernet Fabric data center for its core service infrastructure
Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities, environment, and energy management solutions in the GCC, has executed the Ethernet fabric network switching option by Brocade, a leading networking solutions provider, as an important part of its service infrastructure throughout its sites in Dubai. The business needed a state-of-the-art data center that provides a fast, versatile, and scalable network with much better connection within the organization. Imdaad ultimately chose to change its system with the Brocade ICX 7750 network switch and introduced the Brocade VDX 6740 switch into its data center to develop a Brocade VCS Ethernet Fabric in order to future-proof its network capabilities.
Imdaad's extension of its services from integrated facilities and environmental options in the region into brand-new sectors in the past 25 years has needed a structured and agile solution for both its core data center and future handled sites. The transfer to a Brocade VCS Ethernet Fabric data center will offer enhanced bandwidth to guarantee quicker turn-around time, making it possible for the data center to meet its objectives of dependability, scalability and accessibility. It will also provide a vendor-agnostic platform with automated features and chassis-like performance in addition to minimize operational expense.
Jamal Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, stated: "Imdaad is proud to be at the leading edge of the managed services market and upgrading our service facilities will empower us to achieve our growth plans. We wanted to partner with a market leader who can help us take one action ahead to achieve our objectives and goals and are confident of Brocade's modern and highly advanced numerous switch solution. We are upbeat that the Brocade Ethernet fabric network changing solution will provide the needed dexterity, scalability and automation to our data center, enabling the management and our employees to enhance efficiency and focus more on the companys strategic growth plans."
The Brocade VDX 6740 switches support Brocade VCS Fabric Technology, making it possible for multiple switches to form a self-configuring, self-healing Ethernet fabric that foregoes the need for added network changing layers in the information center. Handled as a single device, it can just include more switches to the VCS material whenever Imdaad requires more data center ports.
"Imdaad has a strong vision for its company and prepared to upscale its network infrastructure. In its 5th generation, Brocade VCS Fabric innovation is the leading fabric in enterprise data centers and a relied on solution for the company. Software-defined networking (SDN)-allowed and with native automation, VCS Fabric innovation supplies an ideal foundation for not only Imdaad's future however also for the 'New IP' approach of open, innovation-focused and software-enabled networking, concluded Carob Sanmina, Regional Director, Brocade Middle East.
