H.E. Ali Salem Al Kaabi Commends H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak on Receiving Turkey’s ‘Order of the Republic’
His Excellency Ali Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, on being awarded the prestigious ‘Order of the Republic’ by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Her Highness is the first woman to receive this distinguished Turkish honour in recognition of her decades-long humanitarian journey and far-reaching contributions to global development. H.E. Al Kaabi described the medal as a well-deserved tribute that commemorates Her Highness’s unwavering commitment to empowering women, strengthening families, nurturing childhood development, and alleviating hardship across the globe.

As President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of FDF, Her Highness has pioneered comprehensive humanitarian programs that prioritise education, healthcare, and crisis response in some of the world’s most underserved regions.
Al Kaabi emphasized that Her Highness’s work has established her as a global icon of sustainable humanitarianism, with initiatives that inspire generosity, social responsibility, and empowerment for all, regardless of gender or background.
“Her Highness’s latest honour reflects the international community’s deep appreciation for her trailblazing vision and transformative contributions.
