GWM Opens Largest Overseas Showroom in UAE, Expands Middle East Presence
Great Wall Motor (GWM) Middle East has strengthened its regional expansion with the opening of a new flagship showroom in the UAE, marking the company's largest showroom outside China. The launch represents a significant milestone in GWM's Middle East growth strategy and reinforces its long-term commitment to enhancing customer experience across the region.
The flagship facility is part of GWM's ongoing investment in premium retail experiences and comes as the automaker records 42% year-on-year growth across the Middle East, supported by rising demand for its expanding portfolio of SUVs, pickup trucks and new-energy vehicles.
Over recent years, GWM has significantly expanded its footprint across the GCC, establishing a network of 95 showrooms and 93 service workshops in partnership with leading regional automotive distributors. The growing network is designed to provide customers with an integrated sales and aftersales experience throughout the ownership journey.
Sunny Bhat, Chief Operating Officer of GWM Middle East, said the Middle East remains one of the company's most important global markets, with the new flagship showroom reflecting its long-term investment strategy in the region.
He said the facility has been designed as more than a traditional vehicle showroom, offering customers a comprehensive destination where they can explore the brand, experience its latest technologies and receive ongoing support throughout vehicle ownership.
The new showroom brings together GWM's complete regional portfolio under one roof, including the TANK premium SUV range, the HAVAL urban SUV lineup and the POER pickup series. The facility showcases more than 10 vehicle models, highlighting the brand's expanding product offering for Middle East customers.
Built in line with GWM's latest global retail identity, the showroom features an immersive customer experience with interactive displays, alongside family-focused amenities such as a café and a children's play area, creating a modern and welcoming environment for visitors.
Looking ahead, GWM confirmed it will continue expanding its presence across the GCC through further investments in retail infrastructure, advanced new-energy vehicle technologies and an expanded product lineup. The company said these initiatives support its broader strategy of strengthening the Middle East's role as a key market within its global growth plans while delivering intelligent and accessible mobility solutions to customers across the region.
