GAC appointed official logistics partner of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge

Global shipping, logistics and marine services provider GAC has been validated as the main logistics partner for the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge (ADDC) global cross nation rally for the second year running.

The repeat collaboration will see GAC assistance rally participants with a portfolio of through logistics services from their port of origin to the UAE for rally cars, buggies, bikes, quads, support vehicles and other equipment.

Founded in 1991 by Emirati Motorsport legend and ATCUAE President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge has seen a few of the greatest names in global motorsport tackle the UAE's dunes.

This year's event happens from 1 to 7 April, with rivals spending 3 initial days at the Rally HQ at the Yas Marina Circuit before setting off for five days of head-to-head driving through the Liwa Desert's Empty Quarter.

GAC will provide preferential access to shipping customs clearance and insurance coverage to the UAE from Genoa in Italy, Durban in South Africa, Marseilles in France, Felixstowe and Southampton in the UK, and the ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven in Germany.
