Why are UAE-India airfares rising less in July 2025 compared to previous years?

Unlike the sharp 30%-40% spikes seen in 2023 and 2024, this year’s July ticket prices have only increased by 5%-15%, offering Indian expats a much-needed breather during peak holiday season. According to travel experts, the primary reason is the increase in flight capacity—thanks to carriers like Air India, Indigo, and SpiceJet adding more services on the UAE-India route. Also contributing to the moderate fare hike is the separation of Eid and summer travel periods, reducing the pressure of overlapping travel demand. For popular routes like Mumbai and Delhi, fares are hovering around Dh1,000, while destinations in Kerala are slightly higher. Have you booked your tickets yet, or are you seeing different trends?
