When will flying taxis take off in Dubai?

Joby Aviation says its first vertiport at Dubai International Airport will be ready by Q1 2026, ahead of launching commercial air taxi services in the first half of that year. The DXB hub will be part of a four-vertiport network including Palm Jumeirah, Downtown, and Dubai Marina, with the company already completing 21 full-transition test flights in Dubai this summer to ensure readiness.
