DIFC reported exceptional growth in the first half of 2024, with a 24% increase in registered companies, reaching over 6,000 for the first time. The Centre also saw a significant rise in companies from the FinTech and innovation sectors, growing by 33%. The number of new jobs created was 4,647, pushing the workforce to nearly 44,000 professionals. DIFC's assets under management soared by 58%, from $444 billion to $700 billion, while its insurance sector grew by 24%. The Centre’s real estate development continues to flourish, with new premium, LEED-certified spaces being added. Furthermore, DIFC has positioned itself as a leader in green finance and digital assets, marking a major milestone with the world’s first Digital Assets Law. With plans for further expansion, including the Dubai AI Campus, DIFC remains a key player in Dubai’s strategy to establish itself as a global financial hub.
