The Water Discus Hotel, soon to be constructed off the coast of Dubai, will be the world's largest underwater hotel. Designed by Polish firm Deep Ocean Technology and Swiss company BIG InvestConsult AG, the hotel features two interconnected discs—one above water and one submerged up to 10 meters below the sea surface. The underwater section will offer 21 double rooms, a bar, and a diving center for training courses. The hotel is uniquely designed to be buoyant and movable, allowing it to be relocated if necessary, and the discs can also function as lifeboats.
