The 2024 World Cities Culture Summit, hosted by Dubai Culture from October 30 to November 1, marks a significant milestone as it is the first time the event is held in the MENA region. Under the patronage of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the summit will explore the theme ‘Tomorrow’s Culture: How Will the Next Generation Shape our World?’ It will bring together cultural leaders from over 45 cities to discuss the role of culture in shaping sustainable cities, fostering youth engagement, and integrating culture into various sectors like healthcare and innovation. Key discussions will include funding models for cultural projects, the role of artificial intelligence in policymaking, and creative districts fostering urban innovation. The summit will also highlight Dubai’s role as a global cultural hub and provide a platform for showcasing Emirati and UAE-based talent. Through a series of sessions and cultural experiences across Dubai, the summit aims to inspire future generations and strengthen the creative economy, aligning with Dubai's vision to become a global center for culture by 2026.
