In the first quarter of 2024, Dubai's healthcare sector experienced impressive growth, with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) reporting a 9% increase in healthcare facilities and a 7% rise in healthcare professionals compared to the same period last year. The DHA issued licenses to over 150 healthcare facilities and 800 professionals, while renewing licenses for more than 12,000 professionals and over 1,100 facilities. This expansion reflects Dubai’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its healthcare infrastructure as part of its strategic goals outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. The DHA’s efforts underscore the city's investment in fostering a competitive, sustainable healthcare environment, positioning Dubai as a leading global healthcare destination.
