Art Dubai 2024 will focus on themes of migrant experiences, healing, and hope in a time of conflict, with a particular emphasis on identity, belonging, and the effects of extreme weather. The fair will also address the Israel-Gaza conflict indirectly. Artistic director Pablo del Val highlighted that the event continues to reflect the city's evolving local concerns, with a strong representation of galleries from the Global South, including debut participants. Art Dubai will host local and international galleries, offering works across a wide price range and showcasing both established and emerging artists. The fair will take place at Madinat Jumeirah from March 1-3, with previews on February 28 and 29, and is designed to resonate with the local community's identity and experiences.
