Want to see your artwork projected on the Burj Khalifa? Here's how to apply.

Emaar is inviting artists from around the world to design the next Burj Khalifa projection show as part of its 2026 Projection Design Open Call. Unlike last year's UAE-only competition, this edition is open globally, with submissions accepted until August 18, 2026, at 11:59pm. Participants must submit a three-minute original audiovisual projection in MP4 format, a high-resolution MOV version, a separate audio file, and a concept note of up to 300 words explaining the creative vision. All visuals and music must be original and copyright-free, while AI-generated designs are not permitted and will be disqualified. The winning entry will be showcased on the facade of the world's tallest building, although this year's competition does not mention a cash prize, unlike the 2025 edition.
