Oracle has affirmed that the UAE is at the forefront of AI and cloud computing adoption, driven by government-led initiatives that encourage technological advancement. Speaking at the Oracle CloudWorld Tour in Dubai, Ahmed Adly, Vice President of Cloud Engineering for the Middle East and Africa, highlighted the UAE’s leadership in both utilizing and developing AI, alongside Saudi Arabia. Oracle also announced plans to expand its UAE cloud computing centre fivefold within the next year to meet growing regional demand, further solidifying the country’s role as a global tech hub. Additionally, the company aims to train 350,000 individuals in AI and cloud technologies to support the UAE’s digital transformation, underscoring its importance as a key destination for innovation and hosting the region’s largest Oracle CloudWorld event.
