How is Dubai planning to reduce travel time from 30 to just 7 minutes by 2027?

Dubai is implementing an ambitious infrastructure overhaul led by the RTA, with Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan reviewing the progress of a strategic plan involving 226 km of new roads and 115 bridges and tunnels. These 57 initiatives, part of the 2025–2027 roadmap, are set to transform traffic flow by developing 11 major corridors, aiming to reduce travel time significantly—from 30 minutes to just 7 minutes in key areas. The plan also includes launching autonomous taxis and building a smart model neighbourhood in Al Barsha 2. What are your thoughts on these futuristic upgrades—do you think they’ll truly transform urban mobility in Dubai?
