How can UAE residents seek fatwas and religious consultations during Ramadan?

To help Muslims observe Ramadan correctly, the UAE Council for Fatwa has outlined several ways for residents to request religious guidance. Fatwa inquiries can be made through SMS at 2535, via the official website fatwauae.gov.ae, through WhatsApp or phone calls on 8002422. The service operates from Saturday to Thursday (9am–6pm) and on Fridays in two sessions (9am–12pm and 3pm–6pm). For questions related to Zakat, residents can contact the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments & Zakat call centre at 8008222, available Monday to Thursday from 2pm–8pm and Fridays from 8am–11am. The authority also highlighted the launch of the National Zakat Platform, a new system ensuring transparent and efficient distribution of zakat funds to eligible beneficiaries across the Emirates.
