Could El Niño bring more humidity and rain to the UAE this autumn?

Yes. Meteorologists say a strengthening El Niño is expected to have a greater impact on the UAE from October and November, increasing humidity, cloud formation and the chances of rainfall, even though it is unlikely to cause a major rise in temperatures. While the global climate phenomenon is already influencing weather in parts of East Asia, the UAE has remained relatively dry so far this summer. The National Centre of Meteorology says residents could experience stickier conditions and more autumn showers as El Niño strengthens, with temperatures expected to remain around 47°C to 49°C inland and 41°C to 44°C along the coast in the coming days. Do you think the UAE needs more rainfall, or are you concerned about higher humidity and changing weather patterns?
